Terms of Use

Effective May 5, 2026 · Voiq

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Voiq mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by Voiq. By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Voiq. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your device and any credentials used to access the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (d) upload content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law; or (e) use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate any person.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the voice recordings, transcripts, and notes you create with Voiq ("Your Content"). You grant Voiq a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service (for example, to transcribe audio and classify intents). We do not sell Your Content.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat (subscriptions), and OpenAI (transcription and intent processing). Your use of these providers is also subject to their terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate. Voiq's automated suggestions and reminders are not professional advice; use your own judgment for important decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voiq and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) US$50.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Voiq is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
